From demonstrations and interactive activities to friendly competition and hands-on experiences, our equine events are designed to bring together riders, spectators, and horse enthusiasts of all ages.
Fair-ly Fabulous Horse Show
August 22nd 10 AM – 3 PM
Kick off your Saturday at the Chesterville Fair with the Fairly Fabulous Horse Show, a fun and welcoming competition that celebrates horsemanship, sportsmanship, and community. Riders of all ages and experience levels are invited to take part in a variety of judged and timed classes designed to showcase skill, confidence, and creativity in a relaxed fair atmosphere.
With age divisions for everyone from Leadline riders to adults, the Fairly Fabulous Horse Show offers an enjoyable day of friendly competition, exciting events, and memorable moments in the ring.

Trail Pattern #1 – Judged
Navigate a trail course that showcases communication, precision, and horsemanship.
Trail Pattern #2 – Timed
Take on the same style of course with speed in mind as you race the clock.
Command Class
A fun elimination class where riders follow commands from the judge or announcer until only one rider remains.
Costume Class
Dress to impress with Harvest & Fair-themed costumes for both horse and rider!
Barrel Race
Put your speed and precision to the test as you race for the fastest time.
Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to 1st through 5th place in each class and age division.
- Entry Fee: $35.00 per rider (includes admission to the Chesterville Fair)
- Proof of current vaccinations is required.
- Proof of insurance is required.
- All participants must sign a waiver on the day of the event.
- Approved riding helmets are required for all riders under 18 years of age.

Sunday Saddle Social
August 23rd 10 AM – 3 PM
Wrap up your fair weekend with the Sunday Saddle Social, a casual, family-friendly event celebrating horses, riders, and our local equestrian community. Hosted by The Giddy Up Gang in collaboration with the Chesterville Fair, this laid-back gathering invites visitors of all ages to meet horses, learn more about them, and enjoy a variety of interactive activities throughout the day.
From mounted games and horse demonstrations to free children’s activities, the Sunday Saddle Social is all about bringing people together and sharing the joy of horses in a welcoming, fun-filled atmosphere

Before participating, please note:
- Helmets are required for all riders under 18 years of age.
- Proof of current insurance is required.
- Proof of current vaccinations is required.
- All participants must sign a waiver on the day of the event.
- Every rider who participates throughout the day will receive a prize.
